A Trump Aide Made A Vile Joke About John McCain Dying And They’re Not Even Apologizing For It

The fish rots from the head, and the Trump White House is rotten to its core.

In a meeting with communications staffers, Trump White House aide Kelly Sadler made a disgusting “joke” about Sen. John McCain’s opposition to Trump’s nominee for CIA director:

Asked about the vile “joke” the White House didn’t deny the statement and made a bland, boilerplate statement:

This comes shortly after a Fox News guest said torture worked on John McCain referring to a debunked smear that people called him “Songbird John.” McCain, who’s battling brain cancer and not expected to live much longer, opposed the nomination of Gina Haspel to lead the CIA citing her past experience with the CIA’s torture program during the Bush administration and her refusal to call anything the CIA did in the past immoral.

While Kelly Sadler reached out to Meghan McCain to apologize, she hasn’t made any public statements. John McCain’s wife Cindy responded to her on Twitter:

She also responded to Fox Business for the vicious smear against her husband:

Twitter was utterly floored by the revelation:

Whatever your thoughts are of John McCain and his legacy, it’s beyond repugnant that the White House can’t even bring themselves to offer even a tepid apology or promise any consequences for an unprecedented insult.
