Fox News Promoted A Super Racist ‘Build The Wall’ Lego Knockoff And Twitter Is Pissed

A conservative company is dropping a new racist toy for kids, just in time for the holidays. “We are pleased to announce the launch of a brand new line of toys: MAGA building blocks!,” reads the homepage of KeepAndBear.com in blood-red font. “This set comes with more than 100 pieces including President Trump in a MAGA hard hat!”

Unsurprisingly, Fox News is gleefully hawking the fake Lego toy. “Take a look at this: A conservative company introducing a new line of toys encouraging kids to build a wall with MAGA building blocks,” Fox & Friends co-host Jillian Mele said Wednesday morning. “The set comes with a President Trump figurine and a ‘Make America Great Again’ hard hat.”

“They may look like LEGOs, but these building blocks are a little different,” Steve Doocy explained on the show, neglecting to address the similarities between the MAGA logo and the LEGO logo on the box. “The toy company that’s making the holidays great again? Wait until you hear about this.”

The design on the $29.95 box set depicts Trump in a suit standing on one side of the “wall.” On the other is a mustachioed man in a sombrero and poncho, holding maracas. He is standing between cactuses at the foot of a Mayan-style pyramid.

Promotional language for the toy explained the premise: “A mob of 10,000 Central American migrants is marching through Mexico and heading toward El Paso, Texas. Mexican border agents attempted to stop them at the Mexican border, but to no avail.”

It goes on to echo Trump’s immigrant rhetoric before concluding, “The wall must be built. The wall will keep America safe and strong. Only then will we be able to help those in need.”

Also for sale is a Trump toy holding “emails” to an orange-jumpsuit-clad Hillary Clinton figurine.

Sadly, these toys are no more of a joke than the mug emblazoned with a Punisher skull wearing a Trump toupee (and nowhere near as funny). KeepAndBear.com launched in 2016 as a promotional tool for a documentary of the same name touting the importance of the Second Amendment. It now carries hundreds of conservative, pro-Trump items. “All items support and celebrate God and Country,” the e-retailer proclaims.

According to the retailer, they have already sold out of their inventory due to the “overwhelming response.” It’s hard to say what’s more disturbing: that people are buying this for their children in the first place, or that they are willing to pay $30 for 101 pieces of gray Lego-knockoff bricks.
