Trump Made A Dumb Rhyme And Got Roasted For It

The government remains shut down, and meanwhile about 800,000 government workers are still not getting paid. And on Wednesday, President Donald Trump had the audacity to tweet a childish rhyme about building that stupid wall on the Southern border of the U.S. Twice, he tweeted it. Twice.

Trump sent the first tweet at 7:57 a.m. and read, “BUILD A WALL & CRIME WILL FALL! This is the new theme, for two years until the Wall is finished (under construction now), of the Republican Party. Use it and pray!”

Two minutes later, he tweeted just, “BUILD A WALL & CRIME WILL FALL!”

It makes sense that the President would choose something simplistic, something able to be chanted, because his followers are big into shouting things at his rallies. It also makes sense that he’d take something as serious and complicated as border security and turn it into a silly little (untrue) rhyme.

This idiotic rhyme got the President a much-deserved rhyming roasting on Twitter.

A lot of people brought up the fact that Trump initially swore Mexico was going to way for this wall.

Nate Silver tweeted that one thing that’s definitely falling is Trump’s approval rating.

Please get this louse out of the White House.
