The Rock Just Won Election Day With A Pro-Voting Tweet That Also Rips Kevin Hart A New One

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a wonderful man. He seems nice as hell, he’s obviously hilarious, he’s very easy on the eyes, and he just shared an important message about going out to vote today, to boot. And not only was the message a much-needed one, but it also came wrapped in a very silly package—a tweet of a picture of himself holding a small child with an image of his buddy Kevin Hart’s face photoshopped onto it.

Okay, so obviously that’s not Kevin Hart, that’s actually Johnson’s beautiful lil’ daughter. But the message remains the same: “Get out and VOTE. Don’t do it for me. Do it for our little ones.”

Here’s the original shot:

Get it? ‘Cause Kevin Hart is a little man. He’s so short! He’s basically pocket-sized. Put that next to Johnson’s hulking frame, and it’s the perfect image.

Clearly, the Rock feels strongly about voting. And he also feels strongly about Hart, who is his frequent collaborator and IRL good friend. He’s poked fun at Hart for being so very wee on social media before.

Here’s the caption that went with that one, where he made up a sweet little rhyme about where Kevin Harts really come from.

And here’s another one, from the set of their movie, Hobbs & Shaw.

No photoshop in this one, but still a smart-ass caption.

But the mocking doesn’t go just one way. Hart is actually close enough (and brave enough) to throw a few digs Johnson’s way. Like this one on Instagram:

The picture is of Johnson getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And here’s the witty caption Hart included:

Aw, they have fun. What’s the point of being good buddies if you can’t make fun of each other on social media in front of millions of followers?

And big ups to the Rock for coming up with such a funny way to encourage everyone to get out there and do their civic duty: VOTE!
