French Montana Got Called Out For Staring At Alison Brie’s Boobs At The VMAs

Straight guys being obsessed with boobs is nothing new. Despite the fact that they’re literally body parts meant for feeding and nourishing babies, they’ve been sexualized to the highest degree and men can’t seem to keep their eyes off of them. French Montana isn’t immune, and he was recently called out for staring at Alison Brie’s chestal region, if you will, at the MTV Video Music Awards held at the Prudential Center on Monday night.

Montana and Brie were paired up to present the award for best Latin video during the ceremony, and admittedly, Brie looked incredible. The Mad Men star was killing it in a low-cut little black dress, and apparently, that was too much for Montana to handle. His gaze lingered on her chest long enough to cause discomfort for many viewers, who took to Twitter to call him out on it.

While many people just thought he was being creepy, others put his behavior down to being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, which makes the whole thing extra wrong. It shouldn’t have to be said that regardless of what a woman is wearing, that doesn’t give anyone, male or female, the right to ogle or harass her.

On the upside, the bigger takeaway from Montana’s presentation is that he used the opportunity to make a pro-immigration speech, telling the audience, “As an immigrant, I feel like we are the people that make this country, and I feel like I want to be the voice.” Brie echoed his sentiments, adding, “What’s happening to immigrants in this country is unconstitutional and frankly disgusting.”

Admittedly, the whole VMAs were a hot mess and this moment was certainly one of the most awkward, but it wasn’t without its positives, I suppose. Maybe next time French Montana might manage to look straight ahead so he can read the teleprompter a bit better rather than allowing himself to be distracted by a body part even his own mother has.
