Michael Cohen’s Tweet About Hillary Going To Prison Is Now Extremely Ironic And People Are Laughing

Trump’s former attorney and bagman Michael Cohen was sentenced to 36 months in prison today, a lighter sentence than he would have received for his many crimes, thanks in part to his cooperation with the Mueller investigation. Cohen tore into Trump, his unindicted co-conspirator in campaign finance law violations, during his plea for leniency.

“I have been living in a personal and mental incarceration ever since the day that I accepted the offer to work for a real estate mogul whose business acumen that I deeply admired,” Cohen said. “Today is one of the most meaningful days of my life. The irony is that today I get my freedom back,” he continued.

The irony didn’t stop there. Cohen, who has a history of bullying and threats, got destroyed on Twitter for an old (deleted) tweet taunting Hillary Clinton with jail time for perjury.

That was Cohen almost 3 years ago to the day, and you’d better believe Twitter went nuts with it.
