Kid Rock, who is actually an adult man, has been fired from leading the Nashville Christmas Parade after making rude comments about The View’s Joy Behar.
Appearing on Fox & Friends from a crowded bar Rock called Behar a “b-tch” and that comment has led parade organizers to scrap plans to have the “American Bad Ass” singer act as the parade’s Grand Marshal, saying in a statement that the parade’s Grand Marshal should “personify the spirit of Nashville” which apparently doesn’t include cussing out TV hosts.
The invitation was rescinded after Nashville mayor David Briley’s office issued a statement that read: “[I]f Kid Rock is still the grand marshal tomorrow, the mayor is inclined not to participate.”
Rock defended the comments in a statement, in which he claimed that hat he was merely striking back at Behar’s previous mockery of him, saying:
Behar has been an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and when Myself, Sarah Palin and Ted Nugent visited The White House last year, Behar called it “the saddest day in in the history of the White House since the British burned it to the ground in 1814.”
Today I said “Screw that Joy Behar bitch”
Mess with the bull, you get the horns. End of story.
I apologized for cursing on live tv, I will not for my sentiment nor do I expect an apology from her or anyone else who has choice words for me or doesn’t like me.
God Bless America.
In a true Christmas miracle the fedora-wearing rock-rapper/rap-rocker will be replaced by an actual hero in the form of James Shaw Jr., the man who risked his life to disarm the mass shooter who attacked patrons in a Nashville Waffle House earlier this year.
Rock has made news repeatedly during the past two years for his support of Donald Trump and for an outlandish story that circulated about a potential senate run.
