Cool posters featuring actors are made for movies, but why should they be the only ones to get their own posters? Imagine if your job had its own poster. (Okay, it might be tough to make some jobs look action-packed.)
Well, it turns out that NASA has made posters for every expedition since the very first International Space Station mission in 2000.
The posters, which are used for advertising expeditions as well as for decoration at NASA facilities, used to basically be group shots of the astronauts. That’s okay but not nearly as fun and interesting as when they started making the posters resemble movie posters—sometimes specific ones, like The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy.
Yeah, some of the posters are a little awkward, but honestly, they’re really pretty cool and funny, too. Well, for the people involved, at least.
