Samuel L. Jackson has never been one to mince words, so in a recent interview with Esquire the beloved actor didn’t hold back. When asked about Trump and why he’s been so “vocal” on the subject the Captain Marvel actor replied that he felt as angry as conservatives did under Obama, saying:
“This motherf*cker is like ruining the planet and all kinds of other crazy shit. And the people think that’s okay. It’s not fucking okay. And if you’re not saying anything, then you’re complicit.”
When newly elected Congresswoman Rashid Tlaib told a bar full of supporters that Democrats would “impeach the motherf*cker” there was widespread conservative outrage and even Trump denounced her.
Samuel L. Jackson, however, came out in support of the Congresswoman and her choice of words. Thanks to his many cinematic tirades involving that particular expletive Jackson practically holds a catchphrase copyright on “MFer” at this point, so it remains to be seem how conservatives will respond to his recent Trump comments.
They’ll probably be too scared of Jackson’s trademark glare to say squat.
@RashidaTlaib I just wanna Wholeheartedly endorse your use of & clarity of purpose when declaring your Motherfucking goal last week.Calling that Muthafukkah a Motherfucker is not an issue, calling that Muthaffuqah President Is!!!#motherfuckeristoogoodtowasteonthatcankersore— Samuel L. The internet however was very appreciative of Jackson’s candor in slamming Trump.
