Tomi Lahren Seems Pretty Happy About Toddlers Choking On Tear Gas

How was your Thanksgiving? What was the high point for you? Seeing friends and family? Falling into a gravy coma in front of the TV? Narrowly surviving Black Friday? Wow, BORING! Tomi Lahren’s Thanksgiving sounds waaaaaaay better.

The highlight of Tomi Lahren’s Thanksgiving was… seeing children fleeing violence get gassed!

Three high fives emoji, indeed!! What an incredibly ghoulish thing to say. Again, these are people seeking asylum from the gang violence in Central America. They’re asking for a safe haven and for our help. Seeing them further victimized shouldn’t make anyone’s Thanksgiving. Also, these kids did not choose any of this! Hateful vapid moron.

Naturally, Lahren got roasted like a Thanksgiving turkey.

But it’s not just her, here’s another right-wing empathy void who wants to make a photo of diaper-clad toddlers choking his Christmas Card.

He works for the right-wing Daily Caller, Tucker Carlson’s operation.

And when Geraldo dared to show the briefest glimpse of humanity on Fox News, he got hounded right-wing Republicans who think gassing toddlers wasn’t going far enough.

And that’s because, as Adam Serwer wrote in the Atlantic earlier this year, “the cruelty is the point.”

“Trump’s only true skill is the con; his only fundamental belief is that the United States is the birthright of straight, white, Christian men, and his only real, authentic pleasure is in cruelty. It is that cruelty, and the delight it brings them, that binds his most ardent supporters to him, in shared scorn for those they hate and fear: immigrants, black voters, feminists, and treasonous white men who empathize with any of those who would steal their birthright. The president’s ability to execute that cruelty through word and deed makes them euphoric. It makes them feel good, it makes them feel proud, it makes them feel happy, it makes them feel united. And as long as he makes them feel that way, they will let him get away with anything, no matter what it costs them.”
