Tomi Lahren Attacked Robert De Niro And Now Everyone Is Mocking Her

Two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro got bleeped at Sunday’s Tony Awards when he introduced Bruce Springsteen by saying “f*** Trump” a couple of times.

Despite Donald Trump’s noted history of offensive, crude, and downright appalling remarks concerning everything from the female anatomy to disabled members of the press, the right quickly clutched at their pearls and feigned horror at De Niro’s f-bombs.

What would bad faith GOP outrage look like without its spokesperson, Fox News bobblehead Tomi Lahren? Difficult to say. The just-tuck-your-firearm-into-your-yoga-pants proponent took to Twitter to give her two cents:

“What a good role model for kids. Robert, no one cares what you think,” wrote Lahren, clearly ignorant of the irony of writing about someone who probably hasn’t heard of her. “This president has done more for working Americans than you could fathom. Might be crumbs to you and Nancy but it means something to hard working Americans. #smh.”

The idea of Tomi using the term “role model” in any capacity irked people.

True to form, the president also took time out of his busy day to tweet about De Niro’s jab. “Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to many shots to the head by real boxers in movies,” tweeted The President Of The United States, incorrectly using a preposition in the place of an adverb while insulting an actor’s intelligence. “I watched him last night and truly believe he may be “punch-drunk.” I guess he doesn’t..” (here, Trump’s rage spills into a new tweet,) “…realize the economy is the best it’s ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country. Wake up Punchy!”

The tweets raise many questions. First of all, what movies, besides “Raging Bull,” has De Niro starred in where he gets punched in the head? Why is “punch-drunk” in quotations? Does Trump think De Niro was in “Punch-Drunk Love”? Why are we worried about immigrants stealing American jobs if employment is at an all time high? Also, PUNCHY!?!? (Ok, can’t hate on that one. 10/10 diss.)

This wasn’t the first instance of Tomi’s spicy takes weathering a Twitter beating. In fact, we made an entire list of all the times her terrible opinions got shut down by people with Much Higher IQs. For example,
