O’Rourke excited the left-leaning masses by running a very close race against widely-loathed senator and Wolverine-cosplayer Ted Cruz in Texas, though now he’ll face closer scrutiny as he hopes to win the hearts of Democrats at large.
O’Rourke announced he was running in a video in which he discussed how America is at a crossroads and so forth. It was pretty typical political boilerplate. But Donald Trump is an image and messaging guy, so when asked about O’Rourke’s announcement he didn’t address anything the presidential hopeful actually said, instead homing in on O’Rourke’s hand gestures in the video, which he called “crazy,” saying:
“Well I think he’s got a lot of hand movement. I’ve never seen so much hand movement. I said: ‘Is he crazy or is that just the way he acts?'”
Trump says O'Rourke may be insane due to excessive hand movement. pic.twitter.com/4PisZhp7da

It should be noted that this is the same man who spends his rallies either gesticulating in rapid loops with his finger pinched like he’s signing an oversized check or else gripping the podium like he’s going to pass out while sweat pours down his glowing face.
A picture of health and sanity. Also will this guy ever shut up about hands?
The ever-watchful citizens of the internet were quick to clown on Trump for his hypocrisy and weird Freudian hand obsession.
Trump just mocked Beto O'Rourke for his hand gestures, saying he moves his hands too much and that he might be “crazy.” Well, watch this entire video and you decide who’s really crazy. pic.twitter.com/D4Lr6Z9xhP

Trump says Beto had a lot of hand movement, wonders if he is crazy pic.twitter.com/i3Q2SloJD8

I think Trump just realized how big Beto's hands are and he's freaking out

We would be able to see Trump’s hand movements if he had bigger hands.

If Trump were projecting any harder he’d be an IMAX theater.

Trump is threatened by Beto's large hands.

You want moving hands???https://t.co/CKLlosdkMl

So Trump says Beto might be crazy because he used a lot of hand movements. The same Trump who makes hand movements saluting a North Korean General. The same Trump who claims to grab them by the pussy. The same Trump who makes fun of a disabled reporter with his hands.

To be fair, most of his supporters won’t detect any hypocrisy here because Trump’s hands can’t be seen by the naked eye https://t.co/Eznnm4Cfxj

Never forget that this is the same guy that made fun of a man with disabilities because of the way his arms moved. Baby don is a tiny-handed coward who shakes hands with world leaders like he is playing thumb war. #fearthebetohttps://t.co/5ZGQ4YCFVo
