Internet Explodes After Trump Attacks Media Over Covington Coverage

Speaking to Fox News’ Sean Hannity, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders expressed the White House’s support for Covington Catholic student Nick Sandmann (a.k.a. MAGA teen) by trashing the media for its coverage of the protest confrontation in D.C. on Sunday. So, basically Trump was bashing the media through Sanders.

During the interview, which aired Tuesday night, Sanders said,

“I think what happened with BuzzFeed is a great lesson for the media. Quit trying to be first and start trying to be right. We have seen time and time again where they run out here with outrageous, ridiculous stories. One person reports it to begin with and they all jump on it. We saw it again with the Covington students. I’ve never seen people so happy to destroy a kid’s life.”

Twitter responded to Sanders’ hypocrisy by pointing out a few important things, like the time that Laura Ingraham actually mocked school shooting survivor David Hogg after he failed to get into UCLA (instead, he’s reportedly going to Harvard).

Oh, and let’s not forget Trayvon Martin and Tamir Rice.

And all the kids separated from their parents at the border, at least two of whom have died.

And the list of children’s lives ruined by Trump continues:

This tweet pretty much sums it up:
